Graduates of 2-year programs usually qualify as assistants to graphic designers or for positions requiring technical skills only. These programs are also helpful if you wish to pursue a career in creative design but already possess a bachelor?s degree in another field. Graduates of graphic design schools can expect to earn approximately $30,000 for entry-level jobs. With greater job responsibilities, graphic design school graduates earn more with staff-level designers earning $42,500 and senior designers earning $56,000 annually. Graduates of a two year program normally qualify as assistants to designers. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is granted at four year colleges and universities.
