Rosicrucian Park, San Jose, California

The Rosicrucian Park in San Jose is a beautiful place to spend some time in a peaceful outdoor environment. Open lawns, beautiful gardens, statuary and fountains create a serene environment that is perfect for relaxing during a vacation to California. The Peace Garden is a particularly serene area of the Park. There are some very interesting indoors attractions to explore at the Rosicrucian Park. Two of the most popular attractions are the Planetarium and the Egyptian Museum. The Planetarium is housed in a beautiful Moorish style building, and interesting shows are held here daily. The Egyptian Museum features an incredible array of Babylonian, Assyrian and Egyptian artifacts. Exhibits at the Egyptian Museum focus on The Afterlife, Daily Life and Trade, Kingship and Religion and Shrines. There is a very impressive replica of an Egyptian stone tomb at the Museum, as well. If you are curious about the Rosicrucian movement and would like to do some research during your visit, the Rosicrucian Research Library located at the Park is an excellent place to begin your research.
