Email was phase one of the internet whats phase two?

When email became popular people found it an interesting way to communicate. You could write an email to someone in Spain as easily as someone in your own town. You didn’t have to pay a dime but you could get information including attachments like pictures to people instantly. This was the major component in phase one of the internet legacy. But then WebPages became the important and more interesting component. Sure websites existed around the same time but at the time email was the best internet business because people hadn’t yet learned the power of websites. Today both hold the power together!
