Now that we have reaffirmed that the stock market is not an unending cure-all in a world of diminishing returns, there is a great deal of public interest in the foreign currency exchange market, or forex. There are a number of firms that are more than willing to help individuals learn to trade forex, formerly considered a market only for powerful financial institutions. Daily fluctuations between the relative values of currencies make this market possible, and while it is not a sure thing (what is?) knowledge is the key that can level mountains. A number of educational entities exist online, and it costs nothing to check them out.
