One question that people frequently ask me is what is the differenece in seo and local seo. Well, local search engine optimization is a subset of regular search engine optimization with a couple of unique features (especially with the 900lb gorilla of online search – Google). But the basic premise is that people are looking for your local business services, like plumbing and carpet cleaning, by searching online instead of reaching for their local yellow pages. So it makes sense that you would want your business to be easy to find but incredibly local businesses have been really slow to adapt.
