When Should I Refinance?

By admin | June 30, 2008

When should I refinance? This is the question on my mind as I hear everyone talk about loan rates, mortgages and refinancing. My understanding is that there are several factors that go into determining when it’s the best time to refinance. First, the economy is a factor. If the economy is slow, then the interest rates will go down. If the economy is good, with lots of spending, then the interest rates will go up. It also might be the best time to refinance if I have a good credit history. This is a plus for lenders. And, it’s important to look at how long I’ve had my loan. If I’ve had it for a longer portion of time, the better chance of getting a good rate that I’ll get. If you take all of these factors into affect, you can have an easier decision in where to get a photo taken.
