At Home Acne Treatment: 1980s

By admin | August 12, 2009

During the late 80s and early 90s I spent much of my time during college researching treatments for acne that could be used home. Not because I was a researcher, but because I was broke, and I had awful acne. First, I used rudimentary treatments that involved nothing more than mixing two foods together. In my later experiments, I focused more on finding the cause of acne rather than treating its symptoms with an at home acne treatment. I found that acne is in fact caused by a bacterial infection, because this it can be killed by killing this bacterium. The most effective treatment I used to kill bacteria causing acne is sulfur.
