Early Memories

By admin | March 4, 2009

I suppose that my love of cigars began at a very young age. Fine Cigars were one of the few luxuries that my Dad allowed himself. He earned a modest wage as a gardener and grounds superintendent for a wealthy family in our town. His story went that on the first day of work there, the elder Mr. Farmsdale had offered him a cigar after the interview and the two had strolled around the gardens. Right then he learned that if one were to smoke, good cigars were the way to go. So, growing up, on Saturday nights after dinner I saw Dad light up.
