Exquisite Chandeliers

By admin | July 5, 2008

Chandeliers are very aristocratic. It reminds me of castles, kings and queens. I never fancy expensive things but the moment I saw the chandeliers in some castles in Europe, I was awestricken. I realized how chandeliers add so much elegance and attitude in a rather stone cold castle. Unlike the normal lighting fixtures, chandeliers are exquisite. They command attention and add grace to a room. Chandeliers vary in shape and sizes. I later learned that chandeliers go as far as the medieval ages. Of course, the designs before were not as exquisite as those in the later centuries. From the 15th century the designs are more intricate, elaborate, and complex. Chandeliers were very popular as decorative features found in palaces and castles of the nobility, merchant and even the clergy.
