Looking for Disney World Discounts

Carol and I have decided to surprise the kids with a trip to Disney World over Christmas break this year. Orlando sounds like a great getaway from the harsh cold of Wisconsin and there is no question the kids will have fun with all of their favorite characters. Since I am planning the trip so far in advance, I figure I should be able to find some cheap offers online. I started with this article on finding Disney World vacation deals, and I am using these strategies in my search. It looks like the package offers are the best way to go at this point, but I am still holding out in case I stumble across a special bargain later in the month.
