New Home Will Be “Green”

By admin | October 13, 2009

Caring for our environment is a priority for our family.  We recycle paper, glass, plastic, steel and aluminum cans.  Kitchen waste is turned into compost to fertilize our organic garden.  Our new car is a hybrid.  When we made plans to build a new home it was only natural that our home be “green”.  It will have solar panels for heating, toilets that use less water, energy efficient windows, and energy saving appliances.  We are also planning to use draperies and floor coverings that are made from natural materials.  One of the best items we found is a seagrass rug for our living room.  Seagrass is long wearing, stain resistant, anti-static, and attractive.  These rugs are made from the highest quality natural materials and expertly woven.  They are just what we need for our environmentally friendly new home.
