Raised Garden Beds Make Gardenign Easier For People In Wheelchairs

One of my good friends from church was in a car accident when she was three years old. She has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since. She uses a wheelchair to get around and her loving husband helps her chair up and down stairs and in and out of the car. If it weren’t for knowing her, I would never have realized that people who are in wheelchairs cannot really garden unless they have raised garden beds. We were talking about her gardening one day and she mentioned that her husband installed a raised bed so that she could garden. She loves it!
