Helping A Neighbor During Abuse

I was living in a large apartment complex in New York and heard a variety of bizarre noises throughout the night, mainly from my neighbors husband who was abusive to the woman he lived with. I called a domestic violence abuse New York hot line last week because the noise got to be so extreme and I was fearing for that poor woman in the next apartment. I don’t like getting involved with people’s business but something had to be done and quickly.
