Are people who can hypnotize anyone supernatural?

I got this question the other day and it totally blew my mind. No, hypnotists are not supernatural. In fact, they’re just about as “natural” as you can get, seeing as how they don’t use any kind of drugs or anything like that to change your behavior. All a hypnotist does, whenever they hypnotize anyone, is to use the subject’s own brain and make it work for them, rather than against them as it does in the case of addictions, phobias or other disorders. I understand that to someone not well-versed in the way hypnosis works that it might seem like there’s more going on, but that’s really all there is.
