Kids Discovery Center on Grizzly’s and Wolf’s

By admin | July 6, 2008

Kids and adults alike are sure to have a great time at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. It is a chance to get back to nature and to learn about some of the animals that inhabit the shrinking American wilderness. Without a doubt, you will learn and appreciate the conservancy efforts of the individuals at the Center by the time you have finished your trip. The refuge provides a home to animals that would have a hard (if not impossible) time surviving on their own in the wilderness. Several bears and three wolf packs make the Center their home. However, the Center is also home to seven raptors (owls, hawks, falcons, etc.) and a Karelian Bear Dog named Jewel.Keepers, Rangers, and naturalists at the Center provide information on all of the different animals, including their behaviors and feeding patterns, as well as how to coexist with them in the wild. Conservancy is a very important issue to all working at the Center.Visitors of all ages that love animals are going to enjoy their trip to the Center, and all the great photo opportunities that present themselves. Perhaps the most satisfying part of a trip to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center is knowing that your contribution will help those animals.
