Listen Well to Your Co-Actors

By admin | November 30, 2008

One of the best acting tips I can give out is to just listen.  Yes, acting is all about saying your lines and staying in character. Just reciting the lines is not enough.  Your line should actively respond to something else someone else says or does.  It has to be a response.  And it has to look natural.  If you do not listen to your fellow actors while they do their scenes, you will sound like you are simply reading your lines instead of actually saying them.  So listen to your fellow actors.  They have something to say that relates to what you have to do and without listening to them first, you will not succeed.
