New To Area In Need Of Halloween Forum

I just moved to a new area outside of Syracuse at the beginning of October. It’s a very exciting time in my life. However, Halloween is coming up and it is by far one of my favorite holidays. I spend every year attending a number of costume parties, entering costume contests and wearing an arrangement of unique costumes. I don’t have many friends yet nor do I know where the best parties happen for this season. I was wondering if there were Halloween Forums for this area so I can get an idea of what events and contests are in the area. If there aren’t any forums can someone please start one to include this type of information?
