Should I Bring Back A Lost Love

After a long term illness I have decided to make some changes in my life. I am going to try to bring back a lost love. My high school boyfriend and I recently got back in touch with one another. I realized that I still had feelings for him and that I would like to try and see if we could make things work. We were both single and looking for a relationship so it just seemed to make sense. I think I let him go when I should not have. This could be the love of my life, for the rest of my life.
