Don’t miss the dial up days

Back when internet service just became available to the average household most of us had dial up service. When you tapped into your internet you’d hear the dialing and then the connecting, and who knows how long this could go on for, and then the final clicking over of the transmission from the internet provider. I am not missing this at all. I am in love with satellite broadband because no matter what remote part of the woods, state or country I am in, it taps into a satellite immediately and there is no waiting, no extra rate fees and a clear connection.
