So Small That They Get Left Behind
By admin | August 19, 2008
This is going to be the final time that I lose a memory stick ! My co-workers tease me about this problem regularly and I really have earned the remarks.
My daughter introduced me to the flexibility of using USB memory sticks. I didn’t know what they were but caught on really fast to their use. The problem I have is that they are easily left in the computer or I lose them inside my carry bag. This happens at least once per week.
I am not changing my carry bag. It fits everything I need and I’m not flexible on this point. What I have done, and what works is that I painted the surface of the stick with neon glitter. When I turn out the lights of my office, I see it glowing. When I look in my carry bag, I can spot it in the depths because there is nothing else that shines down in there. There is nothing like a bit of creativity brought to bear on a problem.
