The Cyprus Museum
By admin | August 20, 2008
The artefacts displayed in the Cyprus Museum are easily the finest collection on the island, and arguably the finest in the region, which is situated in Nicosia.
The entry fee is less than two Cyprus pounds. The collections are displayed in various ‘rooms’. It is also possible to visit the museum in terms of ‘themes’. The museum is situated next to the city’s largest greenery.
A reasonable amount of time needs to be set aside. For example, a quick tour cannot be achieved in less than two hours. In fact, if anything, the museum seems to have too many artefacts for the available space.
